These terms apply when you use northgrants.ca. NorthGrants is a sole proprietorship registered in British Columbia, Canada (“NorthGrants”, “we”, “us”). By using the site or buying a framework, you agree to these terms.

What NorthGrants does

  • Free funding report: based on your quiz answers, we email you a list of grant and funding programs to look at, with program details. It is a starting point, not an eligibility decision.
  • Application frameworks (paid): for a program you choose, we provide a structured outline of an application with draft wording. It is built from your five quiz answers and our information about the program, not from a review of your business or its documents. Frameworks are delivered by email.
  • Frameworks are written by AI and usually checked by AI. No person reviews them before delivery. They can contain errors or wording that does not fit your business. You must review, edit and complete them before using them.

What NorthGrants does not do

  • We are not affiliated with the Government of Canada, any province or territory, or any funding program.
  • We do not guarantee that you are eligible for any program, or that any application will be approved. Funding decisions are made only by the funder.
  • We do not submit applications for you. You are responsible for what you submit.
  • We do not give legal, tax, accounting or financial advice.
  • Program rules, amounts and deadlines change. Always confirm details on the official program page before you apply.

Using the site

  • You must be 18 or older and use NorthGrants for a business purpose.
  • Give accurate answers. The report and frameworks are only as accurate as the information they are built from.
  • Do not copy the site’s content or data in bulk, resell our frameworks, interfere with the site, or use it for anything unlawful.

Payments and credits

  • Prices are in Canadian dollars and shown before you pay. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
  • Payments are one-time and processed by Stripe. There is no subscription.
  • Each purchase gives you framework credits: 1 credit for a single framework, 3 for the pack. One credit builds one framework for one program. To use a credit, click Start My Application in a free report from the last 7 days. You can request a new report at any time.
  • Credits do not expire while NorthGrants operates. If NorthGrants stops operating, we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email and refund unused credits at the price you paid for them.
  • Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Your content and ours

  • Frameworks we deliver to you are yours to use for your own applications.
  • The site, its design, program database and text belong to NorthGrants.

Your privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.

Limits on our responsibility

NorthGrants is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as a missed deadline, lost funding or lost profit. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be handled in the courts of British Columbia, unless the law where you live gives you the right to another forum.
